Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

  • Creating new feature entrees
  • Be aware of culinary trends and recipes
  • Hire and train kitchen staff
  • Manage staff performance and address concerns
  • Coordinate kitchen staff schedules, adjusting daily schedules to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Ensure quality of food
  • Manage special dietary needs
  • Conduct and manage business operations with the objective of maximizing sales and minimizing expenses
  • Guest relations
  • Ensuring that all AHS guidelines are met, and that the restaurant is operating to standards
  • Maintain safe work procedures following industry guidelines and regulations
  • Carry out front hospitality and cooking
  • Catering events and working with golf shop manager to create tournament menu’s


  • Bachelor's degree in the culinary arts*
  • Previous experience in food service or other related fields
  • Extensive knowledge of the food industry and trends
  • Pro Serve
  • Alberta Food Handling Certification

*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered


  • Chef: 1 year (preferred)
  • Sous Chef: 1 year (preferred)
  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
  • Applicants must be 18 years old and subject to background checks
